InnoCarnival 2013

Apart from showing 7 research projects and 3 students’ awarded projects, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of CUHK, we also set up a special corner, including two posters outlining the milestones of CUHK research and technology development and a ‘bike-ride campus’ machine allowing visitors to take a virtual tour around CUHK.

‘Bike-ride campus’ attracted visitors to queue up to experience the virtual tour. Two posters also outlined the milestones of the development in innovation and technology of CUHK.

Undergraduate student who invented the material sorting device was domonstrating and explaining to the primary school students how the machine worked.

The ‘Micro-hybrid powertrain system’ vehicle was displaying at the outdoor area near the Charles K. Kao Auditorium.

Mr. TSANG Chun-Wah John, the Financial Secretary, Ms. WONG Wing-Chun Janet, Commissioner for Innovation and Technology Commission, Mr MOK Charles, LegCo Member, and Mr. Nicholas BROOKE, Chairman of the Board of Directors of HKSTP, visited our booth. Prof. SUNG Jao-Yiu Joseph, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. CHEUNG Mui Ching Fanny, Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Prof. WONG Kam Fai, Director of CINTEC greeted Mr TSANG.

Prof. Rance LEE, Master of Wu Yee Sun College visited us.

Mrs LAW Fan Chiu-fun Fanny, Member of the Executive Council of HKSAR, visited CUHK booth on the second day of InnoCarnival.
