China Hi-Tech Fair, an annual international Hi-Tech event, is approved by the State Council and jointly hosted by different government departments and Shenzhen Municipal Government. It provides a platform for technology companies, universities, and research institutes to showcase their technological achievements, exchange information, identify collaboration partners and explore business opportunities.

At hall 8, over 50 booths were set up by Mainland and Hong Kong universities, providing the public with wide range of innovation and technology related demonstrations. This year, CUHK set up a 120-sqm booth to show the latest research outputs.
