Radio spectrum is scarce and expensive. The use of unlicensed RF bands, such as by Wi-Fi, cannot guarantee reliable communication because everyone can use the unlicensed bands. The use of licensed RF bands, such as by cellular networks, can be expensive and require infrastructure building and extraneous operation by the wireless operators who own the licensed bands. Lightwave communication (Li-Fi) can create a free “virtual licensed” band carried on light used exclusively by smart warehouses and factories within their compounds. Our Wi-LiFi technology enables the transmission of Wi-Fi signals on light, shielding the mission-critical signals from the interference from other Wi-Fi devices.

First-generation Wi-LiFi System (visible light)

Uniqueness and Competitive Advantages

  • Fully compatible with commercial Wi-Fi Chips
  • Plug-and-play
  • Interference-free (Throughput and delay performance not affected by other devices on unlicensed band)
  • Robust (Jamming-resistant)
  • Secure (Anti-eavesdropping)
  • Creation of a virtual license band for exclusive use by Wi-LiFi that costs $0!
Second-generation Wi-LiFi System (infrared)
Third-generation Wi-LiFi System (2D omidirectional)
