Currently used flow cytometers involve chemical staining, antibody targeting, and other treatments of the samples by experts. Therefore, the cost of the systems is inherently high, not to mention the systems require well trained users to operate. Our low-cost cytometer provides a turn-key solution to provide cell analysis results in minutes, which can potentially be more easily adopted by users. The system will require very simple sample preparation and the operation will be fully automated, that will be enabled by integrating advanced microfluidic device technologies and machine learning technologies.
